October 2000 Sign of the Month for October 2000 goes to The Boise Letterheads from left to right are: John McMahon, Tim Peterson, Francisco Vargas, Robert Downey, Alicia B. Jennings, Chris Pudleiner, and Rich Stebbing. This is a Boise International Meet Mural project. . The Artist's Details.. A drawing was sent to Tim, and then he jazzed it up and rode his Harley from Spearfish, South Dakota to Boise, ID. Tim Peterson was the director of this baby, I was only one of the six assistants helping out. The background was done by the time I got there. After seeing how much was involved in just the background, sort of looked like dark leather and gets lighter in the center. I knew it was going to be a good one. Not sure if the photo will show this, but the word Cigar Store is all 23kt gold leafed, the word Hannifins is a blend from light shades of cream and imitation gold, it has a prismatic outline, and a rag effect drop shadow, embellishments above the bottom copy and corners. the pictorial was mainly done by John McMahon. Sorry don't have the name of the installer, but he did a great job on installing. Its really something when total sign strangers can get together and pump out some dynamite work. It was an honor to work with all of them. "Long Live, Letterheads!" Francisco Vargas thanks cisco! . Past Winners . About the Judges . Sign of the Month is brought to you by...
